FACILITY & TRAILS

THE FARM:

Situated on just over 20 acres in the heart of North Texas horse country is the Saddlebrook Equestrian Center. The farm has two mirror image barns with 19 stall barns with restrooms, tack rooms, grooming stalls, heated water wash racks and feed rooms in each. Our boarders especially love their own private walk-in tack locker (aprox 4' x 6'). Staff live onsite 24/7. We offer full care boarding to riders of any and all disciplines and breeds. Whether your training to show, riding for pleasure or have a beloved pet or retired horse we care for them all! We are an adult based barn. While children are welcome we are not a children's lesson barn and our boarders enjoy the level of energy and space that comes along with that. DAILY CARE:

Stall Cleaning: Our 12x12 stalls are cleaned 3-5 times a day to keep them imaculate. We use a premium small low dust pine flake. 

Feeding: Feeding takes place 3 times a day with your choice of grain and coastal hay. Visit our Feed page for more details on options.

Watering: Water buckets are checked and filled all throughout the day and cleaned out completely once per week. 

Turnout: Horses are turned out daily, weather permitting. Check out the turnout page for more details and options. 

Fly Misters: Summer months bring Texas heat and bugs. We have a fly misting system that keeps the pests to a bare minimum. 

Fans: Boarders may provide a metal 3-prong fan for their horses stall and we will install them for you. 

Worming: Horses are wormed 6 times annually. 

Electrolytes: In the summer boarders can have their horses grain top dressed with electrolytes. 

Blanketing: We handle all the blanketing and unblanketing in the winter months and will adjust their blankets as needed for comfort. 

Trailer Parking: We have assigned space trailer parking available on property.

Medications: In most cases staff can assist you with feeding or application of medications. 

THE TRAILS:

As part of the Saddlebrook Estates boarders and residents have access to private, dedicated, equestrian trails maintained by the community. The trails wind throughout the community and are a wonderful way to relax and escape. Bikes, walkers/runners and motorized vehicles of any kind are all prohibited as these trails are dedicated to equestrian use only!
